It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 17th and runs through Sunday, August 23rd in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. Bout of Books-ing with a four-month-old is interesting. I think it’s safe to say that every Bout of Books from here on out is going to be a new experience.
This week, I managed to finish Mistborn and the audiobook of Feed. I also read one essay from The Empathy Exams, a couple chapters of The Bestseller, and listened to about a third of A Full Life. The only thing on my list that I didn’t get to at all was the Captain Marvel comic… which I was planning to read on Sunday, but instead I took a nap. Not sorry. Not one little bit.
