I’ve been blogging for years, but I never seem to be able to set down roots in any one place on the internet. And after two and a half years here at Cheap Thrills, I’m moving on again.
I thought of just changing my blog name, since I’m not really focusing on thrillers anymore. The more I thought about it, though, the stronger I felt like I wanted more of a change. I still want to write about books… but also about anything else I feel like sharing at the moment. It’s time to set aside that “book blogger” identity and give myself permission to write about whatever, whenever. The whole niche thing just doesn’t work for me anymore.
I know I could stay here – it’s my blog, after all, and I’ll write what I want to – but the time feels right for a fresh start. I hope some of the people whom I’ve gotten to know a bit will follow me to my new home. (And I suspect those who were here just for the books gave up on me months ago anyway.)
