Happy Fourth of July! (And if you’re not in the U.S., then happy fourth-with-a-lower-case-f of July.)
I have a confession… I don’t really care about this holiday. Not to get too political, but I find it really sad how broken our country is; it seems silly to celebrate its founding when we aren’t united in anything but name.
(And I don’t really care about the fireworks. Ours were last night. I didn’t go. Meh.)
At any rate, I hope you’re all enjoying your summer… unless, of course, it’s winter where you are.
I know I haven’t been around much lately. I guess I’m still in a mini-slump, but I’m not stressing too much about it. I had other plans for posts this week, but none of them ever got past the idea stage… and I didn’t even have enough to say for a Bookish Thoughts post. But there’s always next week.
Are you doing anything fun this weekend?
