Cheap Thrills is turning one year old this month! Huzzah!
In celebration, I’m giving away one copy of any book I’ve reviewed on the blog that’s under $10 (US) at The Book Depository. Unfortunately, this means most recent releases are out (hey, you know I’m cheap, it says it right in the title) but there are still several to choose from.
Here are just a few of my favorites…
- The King’s Deception, by Steve Berry [ review | The Book Depository ]
- The Watchman, by Robert Crais [ review | The Book Depository ]
- Eye of the Needle, by Ken Follett [ review | The Book Depository ]
- Feed, by Mira Grant [ review | The Book Depository ]
- The Bourne Identity, by Robert Ludlum [ review | The Book Depository ]
- SecondWorld, by Jeremy Robinson [ review | The Book Depository ]
- Sandstorm, by James Rollins [ review | The Book Depository ] (or any of the Sigma novels)
…but you can browse my Review Index for more titles. I’ve written 53 reviews as of today, and I’m willing to bet about half of those qualify for the giveaway.
Here’s how it will work:
Comment on this post letting me know what book you’d choose. This isn’t binding, just something to serve as an official entry into the giveaway, so you can change your mind later (especially since there’ll be another handful of reviews to choose from by the end of the month). International entrants are welcome, as long as The Book Depository ships to your country.
You can earn up to five additional entries by commenting on any other blog post throughout the month of March. It has to be a post from this month (commenting on older posts, though always appreciated, won’t count for the giveaway) and only one extra entry per post (so if we happen to get into a lengthy back-and-forth, only the initial comment will be counted).
I’m putting a limit on this mainly because I don’t want to encourage leaving comments on everything I write just for the sake of earning all the entries you can. This giveaway is a thank you to everyone who reads and comments and has made my blog so much fun over the past year. Just keep doing what you’re doing.
(There may or may not be another bonus opportunity on the day itself. I haven’t decided yet. But keep an eye out for that later this month. Just in case.)
At the end of the month, I’ll tally up everyone’s entries and use a random number generator to pick the winner. I’ll announce the winner here on the blog as well as via email.
This announcement will most likely happen on the first of April. If I call your name, don’t worry – I’m not April fooling you! If I don’t get a response within 72 hours, I’ll pick a new winner.
Good luck, and thanks so much for sticking with me for a whole year!
